Dinners
All children in Reception, year 1 and year 2 are eligible for a free school meal. Children in all classes let their teacher know in the morning if they are having a school dinner or packed lunch that day. Lunch time is 12.15 – 1.15pm, except for Reception who start slightly earlier.
Nursey children eat in the nursery and everyone else will eat in Exmoor hall. Lunch time is encouraged as a social time to chat with friends whilst eating. To avoid long queues, some children have some playtime before they eat.
The choice includes the main option, vegetarian option or jacket potato with a choice of cheese, beans, tuna or ham filling. A salad bar is available most days and all lunches are served with a dessert or fruit. The menu is on a 3 week rota, please find below the menu for the next few weeks. These can be paid for using our Parent App.
Snacks
Children in Nursery, Reception, year 1 and 2 are eligible for free fruit at playtimes. In KS2 we wish to encourage healthy snacks and toast, fruit, a breakfast bar and milk are each available each for 20p. These can be paid for online using Parentmail or you can bring healthy snacks from home.
