We invite visitors such as a meteorologist from the Met Office who visited Year 6 to share their experiences of Antarctica and the research they carried out there.
The younger children also have visitors such as Exmoor Zoo who bring a variety of animals and the children are able to ask questions and see the animals up close.
Each year children in Year 1 have a recycling workshop and Year 2 have a paper making workshop as part of the Waste Education Programme.
There are also workshops on alcohol awareness and internet safety for Year 6.
We make the most of our locality and different year groups visit the library, Tiverton Museum, Tiverton Castle and Knightshayes.
Children in KS2 have the opportunity to go on residentials which are usually based in Devon and Year 6 go to the Isle of Wight.
